Easy to assemble and easy to use. Sticks solidly to work surface or glass chopping board. Slices carrots, cucumber, peppers very finely, grates garlic, cheese etc very well. It has a pusher to hold down the item to be sliced/grated so no danger to fingers. Much easier for arthritic fingers to use than a normal square grater. Very well made, compact design, functions extremely well.. Worth every penny.

Not sure how we ever managed with a standard box grater. Bought this rotary grater after seeing someone on TV use something similar; I hadn’t known such a thing existed. Did some research online and found this model to have some great reviews. We chose the blue, which was the only colour that wasn’t available for delivery the next day. We were excited to receive it. The grater duly arrived and just unpacking it from the box, we could tell that it was a quality item, really sturdy looking. I tried the suction feature, and it was very impressive. The grater was very simple to set up. My husband grated my block of cheese in no time at all. He said that using this grater, he could have grated 10 blocks in the time it normally takes to do one. This is going to be a very versatile kitchen gadget as it comes with three attachments. I am looking forward to using it for foods that I find harder to grate, such as carrots and potatoes. The grater is so easy to use and clean-up is a doddle as the attachments and funnel part are machine washable. I particularly like the fact that the chute slopes downwards so you can grate efficiently into a bowl without any mess. Super happy with our purchase and happy to recommend it to others.

I purchased this to upgrade from a cheaper product from a different manufacturer, which had disintegrated the first time I used it. This grater is of solid construction, secures rock-solid to the bench throughout use, and is easy to clean. All parts including the housing can go into the dishwasher, and they come out undamaged and clean, although the base may accumulate water. I stand it upright on the bottom shelf to avoid this. Very easy to assemble and disassemble, and the quality of grating output is excellent. With my old grater, cheese used to clog up the barrel, but this device does a perfect job. I also used it to grate onions, and again the output is great, however I find quite a bit of vegetable material still in the barrel afterwards, and so have to remove the cutter and scrape it out. Another issue is that even with the built-in extended barrell, cheese gratings pile up on the edge of the plate and spill over on to the bench. Overall I am happy with my purchase, and will just have to work around these issues.

Such a shame this grater fails on it's biggest selling feature for me in that it just doesn't stay stuck to the surface when grating carrots or any harder foodstuff. Shame because the angled design is a boon. Also I did struggle to get it apart and back together again for cleaning. So I'm afraid it's a no from me.

Erste Erfolge hatte ich schon mit ihr: aber das allerbeste ist, jetzt kann ich mir nicht mehr in die Finger reiben, wie es mir oft bei meinen früheren Handreiben passiert ist, besonders bei härterem Gemüse wie z.B. gelbe Rüben, wenn die Reiben nach längerem Gebrauch mal stumpf geworden waren. Andere Vorteile: sie braucht, wenn man sie in der Originalverpackung verstaut, nicht allzu viel Platz in einer kleinen Küche. Das Abspülen geht blitzschnell, vielleicht sogar nur unter fließendem Wasser. Und wenn man die Stellfläche, auf der man mit ihr arbeiten will, leicht anfeuchtet, dann funktioniert der Ansaugfuß auch recht gut. Insgesamt kann ich den Kauf wirklich sehr empfehlen.
