Premier League on Amazon Prime: Streaming service unveils live coverage details and highlights show

Amazon Prime Video has unveiled more details on their new foray in Premier League broadcasting.

The streaming service has won rights to show 20 top-flight matches a season for three years. Their package includes two full matchdays and starts with the midweek round of fixtures across December 3, 4 and 5.

It will mark the first time an entire round of games will be shown live in the UK.

Amazon have put plenty of money behind the rights and are backing it up with on-screen talent as on Thursday they announced 40 pundits, hosts and commentators for the coverage.

The likes of Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Alex Scott Peter Crouch, Roberto Martinez and Harry Redknapp will be joining hosts Gabby Logan, Eilidh Barbour, Jim Rosenthal and Steve Bower.

Commentators will be Clive Tyldesley, Jon Champion, Connor McNamara, Guy Mowbray and Ian Darke.

Along with live coverage of every game, Amazon will also be hosting a separate ‘The Goals Show’ with highlights from every game as it happens across a matchday.
