Bone conductors so, No ear wax, good for bikes and running, clear sound bass is fine but dubstep probably not the best. I use day to day and and for work calls. The multi cast setting allows me to switch between devices, not always perfect when switching. Struggles with Win11(and win11 Teams) fine with Win10 as it shows hands free as a separate option. Fine with using with glasses Battery life is great, only charge over night. 50% volume is usually plenty on all devices Not great for laying in bed or on pillow, no issue on head rests on office chairs. Sometimes can get ear ache but that's from over use (all day for days on end) May forget that your wearing it like most headphones, but not very portable if need to carry in pocket.

I bought those for my husband who can't get normal earplugs to fit and they consistently fall. He came across a more premium brand which had higher bass / sound quality and the option to mute calls. I wasn't prepare to pay such a premium so i gave him these model to try. It is more simple but does a great job. Yes for music fanatics, it lacks on bass / sound quality, but overall it is a good alternative. The band is very comfortable (he used them for work all day plus gym), it fit well the ears and easily pairs up with the computer / phone. He use them for all the meetings calls and listen to podcasts and works very well. Gym works out - run / weights / crosstrainers etc - the headphones don't move, you get to still enjoy your music whiles being aware of your surrounding. And if you train yourself to select what you want to hear, the outside gym music / sounds aren't that disturbing. Charging is quick and have been lasting the 8h (he use them non stop). Just one down side is the usb cable don't match the new computers port usb c3, but we had a converter and old plugs around, which works. So overall a good product that fit his immediate needs. In long run, he may go for a better sound / quality model with extra perks, but for now this is a good fit.

First off these are NOT Noise cancelling or perfect sound wise. They never claimed to be. If you are active and want to listen to music or audio but still be aware of what is going on around you then these are for you. You can listen to good quality music bit less bass than conventional ear buds but still very good and quite loud too considering it is bone induction. You pop them on and boof!! sound! in your head. Okay there can be a little tickle sensation on your temples when playing loud bass stuff but you tune it out more you use them. Has it's own USB lead for charging and a little light to let you know it is charging. Cannot say how long it lasts on a charge as I have had it on all day sometimes and it has never powered down. Press and hold right side for on/off and I forget the rest oh! Tap left to mute. Another advantage over ear buds is you can't have one drop out. I like these I can listen to podcasts and still here someone call me a tosser whilst I am working - yeah people think you cannot hear - but you can. So there you go I like em hope you like them too.

I first tried the cheaper (£30-40) bone conduction phones, and was disappointed enough to send them back within an hour of receiving them. Poor fit, poor sound quality and altogether not worth the effort. My friend had told me about the Shokz models, but I was reluctant to spend that much money in the beginning. How glad I am that I did! These phones are excellent - perfect fit, so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them and they weren't even dislodged by quite violent head movements so great for those much younger and fitter than me who actually indulge in workouts, and excellent sound quality, albeit a little lacking in bass as one might expect. Even that can be fixed by wearing earplugs, but that kind of defeats the object I would say! I occasionally operate a telephone switchboard and I think these phones will be perfect for avoiding discomfort from continuous wearing for hours at a time - much better than the headset I used before. A little point my friend told me about - if worn correctly and you turn the volume up high they tickle your ears. Not at all unpleasant, just a bit weird! Conclusion - don't bother with the cheap ones. Go for the Shokz or just use ordinary headsets. Definitely worth the extra £100!

Shokz Open Run bone-conducting headphones are lightweight, comfortable, and secure, allowing users to hear surrounding sounds while listening to music. The Open Run Pro model offers improved sound quality with enhanced bass and higher volume. I have several brands of ear buds all of which go into or cover my ears and headphones which cover and set on top of the ears. I was looking for something that did not go inside or cover my ears yet would give me a good sound and was a comfortable secure fit. In my search for headphones, I began with the Open Run model. These headphones are lightweight, comfortable to wear all day, and fit securely. Unlike my previous ear buds, they remain in place without constant adjustment, and unlike my over-the-ear headphones, they do not cover my ears. Their small size makes them easy to pack or carry during trips or errands. The bone-conducting sound design allows me to hear all surrounding sounds, such as traffic, TV, children, and people around me, while still listening to my music. This can be advantageous or disadvantageous depending on my preferences. While the Open Run model’s sound quality was acceptable, I desired more bass and higher sound volume if these were to become my preferred headphones. I was particularly impressed by the fit, quality, and other aspects of the Open Run model, so I returned it and ordered the Open Run Pro model. The Open Run Pro model offers improved sound quality with enhanced bass and higher sound volume. Like the Open Run model, it fits well and is comfortable to wear for extended periods. Strategies for Mitigating Surrounding Sounds: In previous iterations of the Open Run Shozk, earplugs were included as a default accessory. While this may seem counterintuitive to the principles of open hearing and bone conduction technology, I have discovered that in situations where external sounds are undesirable, using earplugs with the Shozk headphones can be highly effective in providing a degree of sound isolation.

Friend of mine recommended it because she knew I biked a lot, and so I wanted to give it a try. Honestly, for what I paid, it is definitely worth what I paid for. The sound quality is really good and clear, and ironically still makes it hard to hear people when you turn up the volume. When I use it when I'm biking, it is exceptional, I do put it up to the higher volumes but it still gets drowned out to some degree by traffic or ambient noise (i.e. wind). I also use it when I go climbing and it's so nice to listen to my own music and still be able to openly talk to other climbers. I think it makes it easier for me to talk to people and not make them feel like they're bothering me, because I enjoy talking to people in the climbing gym. As someone who also has a lot of issues with earwax build up and discomfort when I wear earbuds for long hours in a day, these bone conduction headphones are perfect for what I need and the battery enough for the day. Downside isn't necessarily the charging or battery life, it lasts the ideal length and I quickly plug it in for 30 mins - 1 hour at night. It's the charging plug not being a convenient, such as USB-C or Micro-USB port. I don't like dealing with one more additional cord to account for in my travels, as oppose to having a single universal cord.

Parfaitement adapté pour courir. La qualité du son est vraiment impressionnante. Je l'utilise aussi parfois pour m'endormir, et c'est très confortable. Le produit ne serre pas et ne fait pas mal aux oreilles, même après une utilisation prolongée.

I’ve been using the SHOKZ OpenRun Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones for a few weeks now, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. These open-ear Bluetooth earphones provide an incredibly comfortable fit, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings while still enjoying crisp, clear sound. The bone conduction technology ensures that sound is transmitted through your cheekbones, leaving your ears open for environmental awareness — perfect for outdoor activities like running or cycling. The sound quality is impressive, with rich bass and clear highs, especially considering they don’t sit inside your ears. The battery life is solid, offering up to 8 hours of playtime on a single charge, and they’re also quick to charge. The lightweight design makes them incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods without any discomfort. The SHOKZ OpenRun is also rated IP67 for water and sweat resistance, making them ideal for workouts or outdoor adventures.
