Setup was easy, just plug and play via HDMI, and I was instantly transported back to my childhood. The sheer volume of games is impressive, and the selection is pretty good, though there are definitely some duplicates and less popular titles mixed in. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. The controllers are decent, though they feel a little light and cheap. They work fine for casual gaming, but serious retro enthusiasts might want to invest in better quality controllers. The biggest downside is the occasional game glitch or emulator quirk. Some games don't run perfectly, and there are a few graphical or audio issues. However, considering the sheer number of games and the relatively low price, it's a minor inconvenience.

The media could not be loaded. NOBES Retro Video Game Console Stick, with 20000+ Classic Retro Games, and 20 emulators 128G Card, 2 controllers TV HDMI Output £35.99. What a collection at approx 5½ games a penny! Yes some are quite primitive and some similar to games that are appearing today and what a collection to explore! Even if 1 out of 5½ games are worth playing it would be a penny a game. The real downside is that the controllers can be sluggish with a nearly a second delay spoiling game-play, so much my son-in-law (who has a collection of consoles and retro games) gave up playing with it. As to price point, by searching on Amazon I have found an identical setup for £5 less and one for less than half the price - however the latter is not via Amazon Prime, so at a guess it is from abroad. From experience it is worth paying for Amazon Prime as I have had no problems with returns with Prime delivered goods. I will look at the controllers and use my trusty contact/switch cleaner fluid to see if that will make a difference. If so I will revise my star rating.

They say in life "you get what you pay for" and to be very fair this phrase really sums up this product. Plenty of choice of games, all out of copyright. The graphics were OK, but they could be better especially for £35. Unfortunately, there’s no reset button so you have to turn the whole thing of to start another game. We thought we might at least get some use out of the controllers (with our PCs) but they don’t even have USB connections it would be better if you could just plug the controllers in if you don’t want to bother with the bluetooth – it would stop the controllers running out of charge half way through a game too. This retro gaming stick with two wireless controllers came nicely and securely packed inside their branded box. Overall this is a pretty good gaming equipment. The setup was very straightforward and its just plug and play. The stick directly plugs into your TV's HDMI port and you are good to go. Wireless controllers are brilliant and lightweight and therefore very easy to use. Although these are pretty basic and you cannot compare these with more advance gaming controllers available now a days. The stick came pre-loaded with over 2000 classic retro games from the 80s, 90s etc. The good old Pac-man, Mario, Sonic and Street Fighter to name a few. I don't think I will ever be able to play all these games as these are just so many. There is also hardly any loading time so you have all these great games at your finger tips. As this gaming setup is solely offline, it is safe for younger children to play with. Also, as the whole setup is quite compact and lightweight, it is very easy and convenient to take it away if ever needed. All in all, very happy with this gaming stick and would definitely recommend. Rated 5/5 stars!
