We ordered these for our 11 year old granddaughter, who loves playing with her switch, and doing the dances especially. We asked her to provide the review for this, so we cold give a first person perspective on how she got on with it, and this is what she had to say. I found these hard to put on on my own. They are great for the dance games but hard to use for other games. What I really liked is that you do not have to hold the controller in your hand, which is much better I think. I like it for my favourite dance game, but not for other games. The colours are good. So, from a grandparents perspective, they look well made and seem robust enough to provide a good degree of longevity, so I think they represent good value for money.

I picked up this strap set to spare my poor living room lamps from any more ‘enthusiastic’ gaming mishaps, and it’s been a total win. The Joy-Cons fit snugly into each holder, so I don’t have to worry about them flying across the room mid-boxing match or during a Just Dance routine. The Velcro straps are easy to adjust, and the padding feels comfortable enough for longer play sessions. I especially appreciate that the pack comes with different strap styles: there’s a straightforward wrist design as well as one that loops around your thumb and hand. This setup really helps you find the most secure fit, whether you’re an adult or a slightly older child with bigger wrists. (Very young kids might find them a bit loose, but tightening the straps helps.) The box contains fittings for 2 joy con sticks for Nintendo Switch. They can either be attached to the arm through a simple wrist band or you can attach them to the back of the hand with a slightly more complicated forked band. The fittings hold the joy con devices tightly so they don’t fall out when you move. These are handy straps for playing movement games on the Switch. We tried it with Just Dance and it worked well. The wrist straps are fine for adults but could do with having a longer section of Velcro for kids as they are too big and loose on little kids’ wrists and May fall off.

I'm not sure if these straps were designed for kids, but for someone who's a plus-sized adult, they weren't comfortable for me, the hard plastic attachment digs into me. I wanted to get these as replacement straps for a fitness game, tried them for one session and decided not to use them again. I used these alongside Fitness Boxing and didn't like them for that either. Instead I got a wrist strap with the drawstring and that feels much more comfortable, even if my joycons do slip out of my hands, they're attached at my wrist and don't feel tight. One positive is that I've used the strap to extend the length of my Ring Fit leg strap.

I recently have started to play Just Dance and as you can tell by the title yes, the console flew out of my hand and smashed a lightbulb. So now I have these boxing straps for switch sports game and fitness. I will no longer be able to smash any lights. Parents, rest easy. Super easy to install. Children can also use it as well as an adult. It is very comfortable and the wrist strap can be adjusted by the Velcro to a comfortable the size.

These wrist bands have held up great! My daughter got Just Dance for her Switch for Christmas and these make it easier for her to focus on the fun while she’s dancing and not have to think about holding the remote, since it’s all about tracking your movement while holding the remote. They work great, it’s just the only issue we had was putting them on, it’s definitely a team effort. But they’re comfortable to wear, and haven’t had any issues with them
