My wife can't handle modern technology so an ordinary mobile was out of the question. We used to have a good BT landline phone but we 'lost' our landline when we had full fibre fitted to the property. This phone was the nearest I could find to the old landline style and suits her quite well. It works well and uses 4G phone connections which is also needed as some other 'senior's mobiles' don't have 4G access and have to revert to 2G which is very poor quality. All-in-all a good mobile phone, especially for the price.

The phone itself is really good and easy to setup and use. However there is a problem with the software that is that it seems that only one number can be added to a contact. I can’t speak for anyone else, but most of my contacts have a home, work, and mobile number and without setting up multiple contacts for each person this cannot be done. It is a great shame as in most respects it is an excellent phone

Phone is used for 90+ year old who needed a phone that worked like his old-line cordless phone. This does the trick nicely. It works well with his standard hearing aid but also has good volume for the times he forgets his hearing aid. Easy to set up and maintain.

SOS button not in a good postion and can easily be pressed by accident. This causes stress to those listed as SOS contacts. Would not recommend at all ..

Advertised for elderly persons with large buttons and simple to use, it took nearly 3hours just to get the back off it was so tight that an elderly person would have no chance. The main dialing buttons as described were good but the centre up and down control button to access Directory, Tools, speed dialing and other controls was far too small for elderly fingers as other buttons were pressed by mistake. For speed dealing you had to access this control button to go into directory and scroll through the entered named person etc; we found this far too complicated for the elderly. As we required this phone for simple use as a phone without , camera, radio etc; It needs a simple arrangement to set up the call directory in advance with numbers attatched to the person to call a weitten list (as you would with your own directory )is then organised with names and numbers and then just simply press the relevant single number to dial out thus making so easy. The phone has been returned and awaiting refund.

I bought this as a simple replacement for traditional landline phone. Build Quality: no issues Easy of Use: it is called EasyFone and that is exactly what it is, very good. Durability: only had it a few days but battery life is good and the button feel is solid. The only reason I gave 4 starts rather than 5 is that when it is standing in the desktop holder it is slightly wonky because of its light weight and the spring action of the base charging connectors. I would have no hesitation in recommending this item

I bought this for my 82 year old mother, who is a technophobe. I wanted to get her a very simple phone with a good battery life. I programmed the contacts into the phone before giving it to my mum. I think she would have struggled to add them herself. It's not hard to add them but I thought she'd struggle been non tech savvy. The navigation button is very small and seems to have click and touch activation which makes it a little fiddly. So far she is happy with the phone. She has learnt how to use it quickly and it just does what she wants, makes and receives phone calls. It is a cheap phone though, so don't expect too much from it :)

Was not supplied with Australian wall plug, Australian seller coming from Australia, you would think your getting a au wall plug to charge it. Secondly the calls drop out so much i mean like 95% time there is issues calling and ive had this only for 2 days. When calling someone they cant hear me clearly enough or other issue is that when calling your talking for 30 seconds and then you cant hear nothing on the other line, this is happening with nearly every phone call, not good for seniors at all. Im a young man tech dude and this is just terrible so far, only good feature is the FM radio. I didnt have a issue with my older phone nothing at all like this with call drop outs. Also battery life is terrible, this does not compare at all to a good old nokia brick phone. Terrible value for money $125. Should be maximum $50. Sorry if im being harsh to seller thats just my opinion with experince.

I agree with other reviewers. I tested this a number of times on the Telstra network, and calls cut out every time. It does have 4G, but I found that one has to manually select the 4G network for it to work, and even then the device slips back to 3G for some reason. Possibly this was because the phone thought the 4G signal wasn't strong enough, and this may have been the reason for the dropped calls (switching between 4G and 3G), however such a switch should be seamless and not result in dropped calls. Battery life not tested. No physical volume control buttons on the device is also another big disappointment. Indeed mine was shipped with a European power plug charger as others have mentioned. This phone is not fit for service in Australia in my opinion.
