I didn't want something that had a huge profile as I have a small desk - the legs on this fold under...so both folded gives you a small stand, only one folded gives you a medium stand, both unfolded a larger stand - the height reminds the same in all configurations. It is plastic, but it's strong and stable to hold a normal monitor (for reference I have the huawei mateview 28.2" monitor that's all metal and fits fine) The LED lights are there for show -- you can turn them off (I've noticed some reviews having issues with them - you have to long press to turn them on/off...you also need to make sure you plug a USB cable into the back and then into a USB port on your computer that provides power) I got the version with 3 usb2 and one usb3 -- this one you can only charge one device at a time...so if you are getting this to charge multiple devices then this isn't for you as it has no dedicated power source other than the USB on the back. For my use which is plugging in dongles etc it works great. Maybe it could be better if they had a ubsC port - but then you'd need dedicated power and the price would go up

This works really well as a monitor stand - one thing I really like about it is the easily adjustable feet, which change the width of the unit so that you can fit it into a smaller space if you need to. That's very cleverly done, with any combination of none folded, one folded, or both folded all being as sturdy and stable as one another. I've not seen this on another stand before and although I was fine with it at the widest setting, I can see how beneficial this could be for others. The in-built USB hub works perfectly, and this was the main reason for me buying it. I've been able to plug and play various things (headset, controller dongle, USB stick, external HD) without a single hitch. It was also capable of charging my phone (albeit not fast charging speed, but that's to be expected). The one drawback to the unit is that the RGB was flaky for me - the right-side strip was flickery and strobing (which spoke of a loose connection perhaps), and turning them "off" didn't actually turn them off - it left a full light in the left strip and a bit of flicker in the right and back. However (as you may possibly be able to see in the pic) a little black electrical tape has solved this for me. Overall, a pretty decent purchase. It's just a shame about the malfunctioning LEDs.

I got this to replace my old one that stopped working It arrived in branded box on removing your meet with a well made durable stand, set up was simple simply swooped out my old one, i put the usb in spare port on my MacBook Dock pressed the but and lights up (sad i know) i needed this to help raise my MacBook and this is perfect for that, it allows me to place my apple keyboard and mouse underneath out the way. There is a small draw on the front where i keep small items in it. The second allows me to stand my iPhone in front of dock. The 4 sub ports at the front allow me to plug in usb memory stick if i need to transfer files or allows me to charge my iPhone of iPad. There is a single switch at the front that allows you to turn on and control the RGB lights press hold turn off. Over all love it

I had to send the first one back as the usb port in the back was faulty and it wouldn’t light up. Returning was a simple process. However, the second one I received has a similar issue! The usb port in the back isn’t centred correctly making it difficult to plug a usb cable in. The whole unit feels quite flimsy, I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting a heavier monitor on it for fear of it breaking. Wouldn’t buy again.

Pros: Stand seems to be of good quality and can hold a good amount of weight. I have a 32" LG ultragear sitting on it along with some various other things and it doesn't seem to be bowing. I love the little storage dware where i put sd cards, usb converters and various other pc related items. phone holder is nice as well. RGB looks good and has a few functions. Has 4 USB 2.0 plugs. Cons: I do wish the stand as about an inch or two taller as I have to keep the feet on the keyboard down to store it under or open the dwarer when using the keyboard. The 4x usb 2.0 is a great addition, but i wish they were in the back or on the sides as if you have a smaller desk, the cables will be sticking out and interfear with all keys to the right of your enter and back space key. Overall thoughts. Great monitor stands that with a little tweaking, would be fantastic.

I'm a sucker for rgb items and this one is no exception. I can plug it up separately from the computer and it stays on like a nightlight. I don't really use the storage space part as much but I do use the usb ports for things that don't require the computer. It's been super helpful and adds to my set up.
