I haven't 'upgraded' a PC since I stuck a 3D graphics card in a 486 once, probably before you were alive. RAM doesn't count! What you have here is a solid low tier gaming PC which looks nice, is well put together and won't break the bank. If, like me, you've tried the micro PCs and realised on-board GPUs don't really cut it for enjoyable gaming, this is a great place to start for not a lot of money and, most importantly, you can theoretically upgrade everything once you feel a bit more comfortable. Could you source the parts and make it cheaper? Maybe. Do you really want to be that person with your first modular PC? I certainly didn't. You do you! If you just want to get a box, set it up and get gaming, this will see you right (assuming you don't go crazy for the best settings, because that will result in stop-motion level frame rates). If later you fancy doing some research and seeing what you can upgrade, this ticks the boxes too. For my specific needs, this runs Destiny 2 and most other games at 1440p 60hz/FPS, which is fantastic to my aging eyes. Similarly, Ableton Live runs with the lowest latency settings and not a stutter in sight (although, this is a gaming PC, grandad, so what were you thinking?). You could also buy a current(ish) generation console for the same money, so if it's just games you want, that may be your path. If, however, like me, you want a gateway into the LED RGB, sell your house for a new graphics card world of PC gaming, I think this is a great option to start (for the price).

I had a fine W10 PC which I'd had for many years and it still did everything I wanted but ... it wouldn't upgrade to W11 and in only about 10 months, W10 will no longer receive securirity updates. I'm not changing to a non-Windows machine and I didn't want to leave it to the last minute before buying a W11 machine so I bought this. Why? It had a fast processor (for me), a 500GB SSD, a good amount of RAM and a graphics card. It's a games machine (I don't do games) but I do a lot of video editing so I thought that a graphics card would be a help. I knew that I would want to add a big HDD to store all my media and this did give me a bit of trouble but only because of my own ignorance. Everything was already in place to enable me to fit it. After some perseveance, I added my existing 2 TB HDD and everything is working fast and fine. I'm warming to the the multicoloured LEDs that light up the case but if you don't want them you can switch them off. I think the suppliers, whoever they are, could do a bit more to promote this machine to the non-techies (like me) because IMO, it's a good machine at what I think is a good price.

So my 12 year old son wants to get into PC gaming himself. So we got this computer for him. Has a 30 series RTX Nivida in it, which thought not very powerful is good enough to Run Steam games like BeamNG, easily runs Minecraft bedrock and Java. Case is a good size and has room for upgrades, larger graphics card etc, RGB lights up well and PC setup was easy. I did think to myself this would make a good PC for working on too as the capabilities are pretty good. I would class this as a entry level gaming PC, If you want Fortnite micecraft etc this is your machine. If you want to play Call of Duty or Battlefield you will struggle. Does come with a USB wifi dongle but I plan to just plug this in via ethernet instead. Or buy a better wifi card that plugs internally. The SSD is a plus too as it booted quickly. Definitly entry level machine that can absolutly be upgraded as time and budget permits.

Finally replaced my old i7 1st gen pc which was so slow for multitasking. I had 6 external drives and 2 internal ssd's which slowed apps down. Soon as unpacked it I installed 3 SSDs and a usb 3.0 pci card which added 5 more slots. I've never used a AMD PC before and was worried. I decided to take a leap of faith as it was cheaper than Intel. Performance wise it's very fast, way faster than my old PC. It's just gonna take a few more days to install all the apps/software. I haven't tried any games and I probably won't. I got a PS5 and XBox X for that. This will be used for everything else other than gaming. Delivery was fast and a day early. Good service. Overall I great PC for the price.

First use after setup was brilliant, it ran real nice, and was pretty quiet. However when I tried to turn it on the next day it didn’t boot up, only showing the asrock menu. This problem wouldn’t go away. Normal fixes (esc/f11) didn’t work. Only turning it on and off until eventually booted properly worked. Which took several hours. I don’t know if I got a dodgy one or what but I’m disappointed. The ssd it came with was 1tb instead of 500gb, not sure if this was a factor.
