The ps5 is divisive in its appearance and I for one think it’s a complete eyesore that I don’t want dominating the eyeline of anyone seeing it next to the tv and so I was left with two options, hide it behind the telly where it can get covered in dust or fit it into the cabinet (if you have one that will fit this behemoth). I chose the latter but that means putting it horizontal and the supplied stand from Sony is like something from a thrift store. Properly fitted it’s still anxiety inducing, cheap and looks like it’s trying to stabilise something way out of its ability to hold it. Being plastic I also don’t feel it will last long. This stand I’ve purchased is also plastic it supports either end of the console equally . Fitted properly it provides airflow, stability and means I can get in the cabinet with a vacuum and get underneath it with a flat duster without risking knocking the Poundland stand it came with lol.

Only giving this 4stars instead of 5stars due to mis-leading advert of what this product actually is. These fit perfectly on the Ps5 and raise it up, they are absolutely rock solid as is the Ps5 when they are in place and it means you can ditch the silly round base with the screw that came with the Ps5. So it's ideal for that, especially given that is 100% how you should have your Ps5 sitting, if you have it sitting vertically it will 100% cause issues eventually due to the liquid metal on the main chip basically seeping off the chip as it melts, keep your Ps5 vertical and eventually you will have overheating and random shut downs... This is an absolute GUARANTEE! The reason I'm not giving it 5stars is because this and any other product on the market, even those with built in fans makes absolutely ZERO difference to the cooling of the Ps5 due to its design. It's not designed like any console previously where you had a fan pushing hot air off the cpu and out vents. The Ps5 has a system where all the air it uses is drawn in the sides of the front face, you can see the fins down each side of the black face plate. This air is then pushed through a one way system of channels inside the system then blown out the back. There is no way to affect the main cooling fan, even with external fans that claim to cool the system, it's all false advertising. Lifting the Ps5 off the deck as this product does makes zero difference to temperature or cooling, air flow is not required anywhere on the Ps5 except directly into the face of it. So claims it helps cooling are just garbage and false. But the product lifts and keeps your Ps5 rock solid and that's it, but it does it perfectly!

Works well. Lift's the ps5 clear of the table top. Easy to install. Noise level have dropped as my original stand was broken and rattley. Good value for the price, especially considering the Sony one is a similar price and breaks way to easily. Sony should have done this from the start.

Questa comodissima basetta per me è stata davvero una manna dal cielo, perché se come me decidi (o ti occorre) tenere la PlayStation in posizione orizzontale (cosa che consiglio moltissimo perché è meno pericoloso e più giovante per l’anti-surriscaldamento), senza questa basetta avrai un bel po’ di problemi perché la console non starà orizzontalmente livellata e dritta, dondolerà e rischierà di scivolare, questo perché la sua struttura non è progettata per essere poggiata in questo verso. Invece se utilizzerete questa basetta, la vostra console starà perfettamente livellata orizzontalmente e bloccata (grazie ai gommini), inoltre la sua installazione è davvero molto intuitiva e veloce, io stesso non ho avuto nemmeno bisogno del libretto di istruzioni.
