This Meta Quest 3 silicone cover set is good quality and obviously well-made. It fits my Quest perfectly and gives me some peace of mind that it's a bit more protected. It was really easy to put on, as the sillicone stretches to fit over the headset and controllers. Because it's got such a good stretch to it, once you've got it on it stays in place throughout game play. The cover for the headset gives it that extra layer of protection, which is particularly useful if you're playing an active game where there is a risk that you might hit or knock it. The controller covers make it easier and a bit more comfortable to grip the controllers. It also comes with stickers for the thumb sticks, which make it easier to control them too. While I appreciate that the design of the silicone cover over the battery port was to allow for easier access to change the batteries, I'm not a fan of it. I don't like the idea of being able to so easily access the battery slot, especially as we have young children and pets around the house. If this had been a silicone cover that simply slipped over the controllers then I would prefer that. That said, the battery cover has been well designed and the kit comes with a plastic replacement piece for you to switch out with the existing plastic battery cover, which then fits with the silicone cover. The replacement piece is exactly the right size and fits into place perfectly. You just need to make sure that you store the original battery cover so you don't lose it! Overall, this is a good quality protection kit for a Meta Quest 3 and I would absolutely recommend it. I would however advise anyone looking at it to consider whether an open access battery cover is right for them.

Im going to split the review into two parts 🌑 Controller Covers These covers have a really nice feel and are easy to fit (just remember to swap the battery cover—more on that later). A great feature is that you can change the batteries without removing the covers. For me, the extra knuckle protector is especially useful because it lets you walk around with the controllers attached to your hands, allowing you to loosen your grip when not in use, and they’ll still stay in place. There’s no impact on the buttons or functionality, so it’s a great addition that also helps prevent dirt from getting into small crevices. That said, while the battery feature is convenient, it means you’ll need to store the old covers somewhere safe. I can easily see people misplacing them, so be sure to remember where you put them—I’ve kept mine in the Quest box. 🌑 Unit Cover I’m not entirely sold on the unit cover. It’s made of thin material, so it won’t offer much protection in the event of a drop, and the lenses remain unprotected. If you place the unit face down, the lenses will be the first to make contact. On the plus side, the rubber is paintable, so artistic users might enjoy customizing it. Overall, it seems like it offers more scratch protection than drop protection. That said, it doesn’t affect day-to-day use and does slightly change the look of the device. 🌑 Conclusion It’s a nice accessory for the Quest, and I think the hand straps alone make it worth it.”

Ordered this for my son as he is always putting it down in places where it could quite easily get marked, knocked or damaged. The Silicon covers fit well, and also include Straps for the hands, which is a bonus. Overall, it looks nice when it’s fitted, and will definitely keep it protected and clean. Happy to recommend, good value for money

I've been using this cover set for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed with how well it protects my VR headset. The silicone material is soft and grippy, making it comfortable to hold. The covers fit snugly and stay in place, even when I'm moving around a lot. I also appreciate that the design allows for easy access to the battery compartment, so I can quickly swap out batteries without having to remove the cover.

This review is divided into two parts. the cover for the headset and the covers for the hand grips. First the headset cover. It stayed on for about five minutes before I took it of. I found it an awkward to stitch it over the headset and get an acceptable fit. I think it looks a little odd and as I am not in the habit of throwing my headset around not sure it adds much. Different review for the handgrips. The cover for each grip has two parts. First there is a replacement for the battery cover. It is still white but is a sensible change which I will explain later. The rubber cover itself is quite easy to stretch over the handgrip and although I still think it looks a little odd on white grips with white showing around the black rubber it definitely makes the grips easier to hold and the straps that go around the hand are really worthwhile. Now to the holes in the battery covers. The batteries can be lifted out through the holes and there is a fitted strip that goes under the batteries to assist lifting them. The rubber covers have flaps that match the holes so changing s battery is just a case of lifting the flap snd pulling the strip. `then just push in the new battery, making sure the strip is underneath, and close the flap. No need to take the rubber covers off so a sensible design. As an overall package this only gets three stars as, for me, one part is good and the other is rather poor. The hand grip covers on their own would get five stars and I would be extra happy if they were available in white. The cover for the headset itself is a different matter. It's awkward to fit, looks odd in black with odd areas of white showing through and I don't think adds any worthwhile protection.

I'm actually really impressed with how well thought out and designed these silicone skins are! They protect the controllers and headset from scratches, they look nice, and most importantly they do not affect tracking. Installation was easy too. I admittedly overthought the installation of the headset skin at first, and I tried to install it by looping it through the headstrap connectors from behind first, and then rotating it around to the front. But it was actually a lot easier to get on than I made it. All you need to do is just take off the sides of the headstrap, then you can stretch the skin around the front, and the side loops are stretchy enough to just be pulled up and around the headstrap connectors. Looping around the headstrap connectors like this also keeps the skin securely attached. The controller skins were easy to attach as well. New battery box covers are included which replace the standard ones, and which have openings to allow for easier battery access. The skins then slip on easily by inserting the controllers from the front, and then the battery access flaps insert neatly into the openings left by the new battery covers, allowing for quick and easy access to the battery compartment without needing to remove the skin, while still maintaining a neat appearance. The soft silicone material is comfortable to hold too, and the knuckle straps are also comfortable and help with keeping a more secure feeling grip. Overall a fantastic and well designed set of skins! An easy 5 stars!

The controller covers and their straps provide added secure grip. I also like they way they provide quick access to the batteries for quick removal using the included clear pull tab. DON'T discard them thinking they are just something related to the packaging. You do have to replace the original battery compartment covers with the ones supplied with this kit. Once applied, to remove dead batteries, just lift the portion of the silicone covers that cover the batteries, pull the clear plastic pull tab which pops the batteries out. Replace them with new one (I prefer re-chargeable), then cover the battery compartments with the silicone covers tucking the tab underneath the new battery compartment cover. I haven't applied the headset cover as I don't believe it is needed and could hamper cooling.

Handstrap brok after only a few hours of use. The velcro came completely unglued from the back side of the handstrap and now it cannot be tightened at all.

I found with this kit that the silicone that goes over the headset really isnt that form fitting or stylish and over time adds increased heat to the setup making my face sweat all that much more. This in turn leads to frustration and increased wiping, cleaning, and taking breaks to cool off. Not worth it in my opinion. However the controller grips are welcomed as they really do bring benefit to the setup. I would instead go for a skin for the headset and just be more careful with your device - accidents happen however this thin silicone isn't offering much more than scratch protection. Also - some glass protections for the camera lenses would be a more effective use of funds when trying to protect your device.

VR headsets aren't cheap. I thought I'd be annoyed by the appearance of these covers because the quest is such a beautiful clean white design. But after installing these, I realized how much they offer protection against dings and scrapes. If you have a quest, I'd highly recommend making this a part of your rig.
