Not a great deal i can say about a head strap so just a few pros and the one con Pros.... Very well made sturdy but of kit. Makes a huge difference to the vr experience on the quest 2. Makes putting on and removing the headset a lot quicker and easier. Should stay cleaner for longer and easier to clean unlike the standard strap. Cons... Over priced for what basically is a piece of plastic although be it adjustable. No expensive electical components inside, no different sizes or fitment to accommodate, no screens. Just a piece of plastic so no idea how they come to the price tag of 49 quid.

Decided to go for an Elite strap when the price came down. So glad I did. Completely makes a difference to the whole experience of 'brick strapped to bonce', by balancing out the weight and feeling properly fitted to your head. It's an absolute must for any meta quest user and there's even a bonus: after previously spending £20 on a hard shell case for my Meta quest, I was miffed to realise that it would no longer fit due to the added Elite strap. A new, bigger case was going to cost me another £25.00. But then I realised that the nice solid box that the Elite strap came in is actually the perfect size for the Meta quest, Elite strap, controllers and cables. Just add a little soft packing and it's perfect! (See pictures) What a result, making the whole purchase even more of a bargain. 😊

I bought this to extend the life of my quest 2. Replacing the original strap is really easy and this elite strap with battery just clips back in it's place. It's able to tighten enough to fit my 7 year old for the occasional go. It's adjustable on top to alter the height of the goggles and tightens on the back to make it more secure and stop any wobble. It is a little heavier that the standard strap but that's to be expected. The battery provides several more hours of use on a single charge. The battery plugs into the quest itself and provides pass though charging so you can charge the headset and elite battery at the same time with one cable. I found this strap still fits in my original quest 2 case without issue. I've read reviews of non official batteries and am glad I went with the official one. A great buy and I'm very happy with it.

This is definitely an improvement over the strap that comes with the headset. It's easy to put on and is way more comfortable. The only issue is that because the elite strap is rigid unlike the original strap, it makes it difficult to store the headset without constantly taking it on and off

If you have a quest 2 like me this will be perfect for you the increased battery life makes a huge difference. Going from 2-3 hours to 6-7 is amazing. Also the quality and comfort is great. Definitely recommend 🙏🏻

Having read many reviews on here relating to the Oculus Quest 2 link cable, seemly many people don’t understanding or have the technical knowledge relating to dual function data and power transfer cables (not surprising really as the cable connectivity world has become utterly mind boggling) and whilst I’d agree this cable is on the expensive side its actually totally designed to do the required task, but moreover and I feel it’s important to understand, this expense is because active cables (active cables support much longer reach than their passive equivalents), cables capable and used for both data and power transfer are far more expensive to produce than passive cables (passive cables are liable to degrade data they carry). This branded 5 metre (16.40 feet) of premium spiral shielding fibre-optic core link cable delivers exceptional performance for PC VR gaming on your Quest 2 whilst powering up the headset. It’s lightweight and highly flexible in comparison to many of the unbranded cables available, many of which also do not offer charging capabilities. I also found no channel impairments including attenuation, crosstalk, noise, irregular fluctuations, minimal signal loss and group velocity distortion with this cable. With Oculus ‘O’ branded high-quality link cable and the Velcro hook and loop fastener, Quest 2 feels and acts like a proper tethered headset, like it was meant to be used this way. I bought this because I assumed it must be a good cable boy was I wrong. It twists around itself constantly and kinks so you get to hear your quest connecting and disconnecting randomly and it finally gave up the ghost after 6 months when the usb connection came off in the headset. Not worth the price

This face piece helped me so much because I play active games such as thrill of the fight and creed and this helps when I sweat because it’s easy to wipe off as for my old one it would soak the sweat and make it smell the controller knuckles as well feel amazing on my hands and feel super lightweight and high quality they kinda tricky to take off once on but that’s good since it’s authentic material would definitely recommend to anyone that plays actively or even casually and looking for something easier and comfortable for your life

This provides a major comfort upgrade and makes the base device much more usable for my kids, girls, and wife. It adapts to small head sizes and is much less likely to slide off with longer hair. It is much easier to play extended games, or switch off with the additional battery storage

This is one purchase I was very skeptical of going with for the fact its sold by Meta. I assure you though this cable is these best link cable option. I have had multiple friends have issues with their third party cables not working properly and keep telling them to get this one. The price is a lot more yes but this cable offers really high bandwidth and the ability to charge while playing! This is at least with the Meta Quest 2. As for the new Meta Quest 3 it cannot out charge its consumption which I believe is a problem with that headset itself. The cable has a 90 degree to plug into your headset which makes it nice to run it back behind you when playing. It is a Type C to Type C cable but most pcs have a dedicated type on the back. Love this cable and will continue to use it with my Quest 2. Summary: High Bandwidth+ Very Long Cable+ Charges While Playing(Quest 2)+
